Solash Reed trip to Northern California, May 1998
We headed west to help celebrate brother Rick's 40th birthday.   After the Saturday Night Yakidoshi party hosted by Bob Sr. and held at a Japanese restaurant in S.F.'s Fishermans Wharf, the  Reed clan headed out for a couple of nights at a pair of beach houses in Marin County's private community of Stinson Beach

Afterwards, we headed for the Sierras and spent a few nights in a historic hotel in Nevada City,  and worked in a visit to the snow fields at Donners Pass.    Driving back through the Sacramento Valley, we stopped off at The Nature Conservancy's Cosumnes River Preserve wetlands

We wrapped up our visit with a stop in Santa Cruz on Monterey Bay where we played on the boardwalk, Gina got to go swimming, Dad got some fishing in, and we all got a good closeup look at the Sea Lions.
