The Indian River Sportsman e-mail discussion list
Our New Slogan: "Opinions are Welcome!"

This discussion forum is intended for the unrestricted exchange of information, opinion and personal experience revolving around fishing Florida's Indian River Lagoon system, which runs roughly from Daytona Beach south to Jupiter Inlet in Palm Beach County.

These are the general rules of the road:

1.  This is a discussion list, not a club.  There is no criteria for participation other than access to e-mail, just as there are no pre-requisites to fishing the lagoon other than access to the water.

2.  This is an unmoderated and unrestricted list!  Although I hope that for the most part some common standards of decorum and conduct will prevail, there is no guarentee you will never encounter occasional adult language or spirited exchange.  Just like the real world.

3.  You would mislead yourself to assume that all mailing list
participants are conservation-minded courteous citizens.  There are bound to be some flats-buzzing limit-busting poachers here and there.  Just like the real world.  But I do have a hope that through free and open exchange, we just might be able to enlighten and change the attitudes of some of our salt water neighbors.

4.  All discussions and postings to the list are available in a searchable on-line archive on the WWW at http://www.milepost1.com/list.archives/irs/, and postings will be automatically prefixed with [IRS] in the subject line.   The host server belongs to www.milepost1.com
